Anchor's Away

While blog hopping and watching You Tube videos I came across Make it Monday # 146Angled Backgrounds from PaperTrey Ink.   I immediately knew what to do with the scraps from my last set of cards.  I save ALL of my scraps no matter what size, you never know when your going to need them!  Plus I just loved the patterns and colors of the papers I had to use them.  Now I need to use up more of them and this way is perfect.

Happy New Year!

I love this quick and easy card.  The idea come from watching Creations with Christina, I love watching her video's, lots of great tips and idea's.  You can find her blog and watch her video here.

I love anything nautical and wanted to show the background paper a little more, so I made the white layer smaller to expose more of the pattern papers.  I added a decorative paperclip to the side.

Holiday Card Workshop 2013 Class Wrap Up

I Love the way this card and technique came out, especially after the 4th time.  The only reason why I had to try it so many times was the tape to mask the edges....it kept ripping the paper as I peeled it off.  Then when I finally got the hang of it, my embossing power didn't stick, so I had to do it again......I don't plan to make another one like this, so my Nephew will be the one and only.
