Seahorse cut from my favorite Cartridge "Life's a Beach".I was teaching my mom how to use the cricut while she was visiting and decided to show her with this easy cut.  She did a great job on her's too.

I really do hate having so many scrap pieces of paper.  I do not throw anything away if it's bigger then around an inch.  The following cards were made from mostly ALL scraps.  I did throw in a few new pieces of cardstock.  Enjoy!!

Paper Cutz Challenge #76

Here's the Challenge: For challenge #76, make a card, LO or craft project for Valentine's Day using a hand stamped, digital stamped or Cricut cut image of a cake, cupcake, cookies or candy, using any colors you'd like.

I love the way this card came out, I also think this is the first time I have used Sweet Treats, and I'm sure I've had it since it came out.  I based my design around Martha Stewart Flocking Powder.  I've never used flocking before and now I'm hooked.

My Pink Stamper's First Blog Hop

During this Challenge you needed to visit each blog in the hop to collect a Key Word, these key words ended up telling us what the challenge was.  This is the first time I have come across a challenge like this one.  I enjoyed visiting everyones site and collecting the words.  So here is my card made for this challenge.  I can never just make one....

Recipe:
Quarter Note Cricut Cartridge: Tuba cut at 2.5
Create a Critter:  Various heart sizes to fit within the swirls
Paper Trey Inc: Rasperry Fizz cardstock and ribbon
DCWV Black Currant Cardstock
In the first picture I used Glossy Accents on the Tub and Lindystampgang spritz on the hearts
In the second picture I used Glossy Accents just on the hearts

Spiral Bound Gift Card Holder

This year we decided to do something a little different for my Parents Christmas Gift.  What do you get for someone that has everything?   When you ask, "What would you like for Christmas", and get "nothing" really makes it hard to figure something out.  Well my Sister came up with this Brilliant idea to all chip in $$ and get them a bunch of gift cards.  You may think gift cards are not a very personal gift for your parents, but ours just moved and retired,  so we thought this would be perfect. The shopping began for the cards...  They ranged from Gas cards to Grocery Cards to restaurants and Coffee to Crafts and Hardware.  Since I'm the only one that does not live in the same state as the rest of them and did not have access to the same stores and restaurants, it was my job to make the book to keep them in.  I was honored when my Sister asked me to make something to put them all in.  So here you go...............................

I used the paper collection from October Afternoon: Seaside

I love this collection and had it even before I was asked to make the book.  When she asked me to make a book for the gift cards, I knew exactly what papers I was going to use.  It is so perfect because as I mentioned my parents moved, well they moved from the City to the shore. This is the first time I had done anything like this, even the first time I used my Bind It All that I had for several months.
